Steve Jones to speak on the benefits of social recruiting

The Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia (HRANS) is hosting an event, "Beyond the job board: How social media is changing recruitment on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 featuring Steve Jones, President of The People Bank, as guest speaker.

In this fast moving session, Steve will reveal the most current trends and opportunities of Social Media Recruiting. Steve will outline the newest technologies, apps and services designed to recruit, as well as give specific examples of the recruitment features built into LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. To get us all in spirit for the upcoming HRANS Conference in May, Steve will also include tips on how to leverage these tools to network before, during, and after the conference.

Steve Jones, President of The People Bank, has over 28 years of leadership experience in the recruitment and staffing industry. Since 1983, he has earned the position as the most recognized name in the Canadian staffing industry, all while growing The People Bank to become part of Canadas largest independently owned staffing organization.
