Our Hiring Process1) Submit Your ResumeThe first step towards a job through one of The People Bank’s many client opportunities is to submit your resume. You can do this through our website or by fax to your local branch listed in the Contact Us section. 2) Initial Screening If one of our opportunities suits your qualifications, a recruitment consultant will call you to ask you a few brief questions about your job skills, availability and any other languages that you may speak. 3) The Interview After the initial screening, the consultant may contact you to come in for an interview so that they may further determine your qualifications. You will be asked questions about your work experience, qualifications for the job, skills and education, to name a few. 4) Skills Assessment Depending on our client’s specific job requirements, you may be asked to complete some skill-testing on topics such as familiarity with computers, internet navigation, Microsoft Office software, word processing, data entry, mathematics, reasoning, problem solving and behavioural assessments. 5) References, Background Checks and Security Clearances If you are qualified for the opening, The People Bank will contact your previous employers to inquire about your employment history, so remember to bring the names and phone numbers of three (3) work-related references to the interview. If you are not qualified for that specific opening, we will keep your resume on file and contact you immediately if your qualifications closely match another opportunity we have available. |
